Indian cuisine is as varied as its terrain, from the rich Kashmiri dishes of the snow-capped Himalayas to the simple cuisine of the palm fringed coasts of the south. To most people, Indian Food means hot peppery curries, but this is not necessarily so. Strength of spices vary from place to place; from the very hot dishes in the south to the more delicate, subtly spiced dishes from the north.

Hot chilies are mainly used in parts of India where the temperature stays very high for most of the year, because they cause perspiration, which cools the body by evaporation and also rids the body of toxins through the skin. Some dishes do not need chilies at all. Dishes such as Tandoori Chicken, Samosas, Indian Breads and Rice are ideal for introducing children to the delights of Indian Food.

A traditional Indian Meal centers on rice or bread, served with two or more dishes in which the main ingredient is meat, poultry, seafood or vegetables. Pickles, Chutneys, Papadams and Yogurt are relished as accompaniments. The best way to enjoy an Indian Meal is to eat the Banquet Style, sharing the different dishes on the table. We offer traditional Indian cuisine, prepared by trained chefs from India.
